Our second day here and the sun has come out. We just did a recce to see where the ferry terminal is to Greece tomorrow. Its 9 km away along busy roads and boy are we glad we checked it out first. We have established beyond any doubt what so ever, that there is no quiet road to this ferry terminal in Fusini, Venice - but at least we know were we are going and are prepared. We took the opportunity to check in and to tell them about our bikes. There was no option on the online booking. The booking process is fairly straightforward and if you phone you can ask to speak English.
So back now at out little air B&B which is quite comfortable if not luxurious. We are off out in a minute to enjoy Venice and take some photos of the wonderful sights whilst it is sunny - we hope!
