First trip to Quercy March 2015 (waiting to leave)

Canopy up

This is our mooring here in Saint Jean de Losne with Quercy sporting her well travelled canopy, brought down from the North of England then driven overland from Dartmoor. As it was measured on a different Piper 55 we were never quite sure if it would fit. There is an odd little catamaran made of spare bicycle parts moored next to us.

Our first try out of our folding bikes was a 30km cycle ride.
Everywhere is very flat here, so although not the most exciting landscape, cycling is satisfyingly easy.

Cut velvet cushion covers almost finished

We are sort of stuck here in Saint Jean de Losne. The trip we planned up the Canal Borgougne cannot start yet as the canal is not open until Saturday 5th April.  Why?  We do not know.

So plenty of opportunities for sewing and if the Ikea Poangs plus footstool had to stay then their covers did not.

Here are my lovely cut velvet newly made covers.
