Potsdam and the rest of our time in Berlin

Garden of  Sanssouci Palace, one of the most famous of the Prussian palaces of Potsdam built by Fredrick the Great in 1744
We had such a whistle stop tour of Potsdam on our rented bikes that we have very few photos of the fantascic newly restored Prussion palaces.  You can see them here https://www.potsdam-tourism.com/highlights/palaces.html

Here is Simon who has just bought postcards from the shop at Ceciliahoff Palace where the allied powers carved up Germany after WWII

We swam in the lake behind Ceciliahoff.  Lovely setting with lots of passing boats (not too close as it was a large expanse of water) including commercials,

Tracy and her hat

Lovely beer garten alongside the Spree on the way back

HEre we are in a lovely restaurant in Potsdam that is in an allotment garden

Cycle path near where we swam

After swimming
