Two weeks in the UK

Exmouth
Although I grew up in Exmouth I have never really enjoyed being there.
Since we have been staying at Tideaways holiday cottage with mum we have loved spending time on the beach and walking the coastal paths.  Unfortunately we can't persuade mum to even leave the house most days.  Sometimes she will agree to a short drive.

Orcombe Point is just beautiful in the evening sun when the tide it out.  Lots of people and their dogs enjoying the water.  Paddle boarders and lots of kite surfers further up towards the docks.

Cornwall.
We spent some time in Cornwall with Sian and Jo, Lottie, Sophie and Kitty.  Sian and Jo were busy getting their pub up and running and we divided our time between helping them with practical things and being with the children.

Sophie was unsure whether Merlin's cave was great fun or really scarry

Lottie immediately went exploring

Sophie did a wee in her knickers and got her shoes wet! She is pretending that it is not happening.

There was a small patch of sun on the beach

and a waterfall

Julian and Kitty waited patiently at the top of the steps

I went to the park with Sophie and Kitty.  Sophie and I shared a hat!  She did not really want to wear it but consented to having it on for half the time.  Unlike her blue ball which she did not want to share!

Wells.
We visited Ben Molly and Wren for two days.  We spent quite a lot of the time in the Bishop's Palace gardens.

Wren was very interested in the two dogs on the next table and sat there eating her lunch of spagetti and vegetables quite happily.  No finger food this time and all nice and clean!
